I just finished a bunch of new blank journals. Some have a hard cover with exposed spine and others have soft wrap-around covers. I am taking most of these shown to the Focus on Book Arts conference in Oregon this week, where I’ll have them for sale in the artist shop.
I just finished painting a bunch of fabric to use to make into book covers. The next step is to get these cut out and start the process of making the journals. I’ll keep you posted.
The Vern Burton Christmas Fair in Port Angeles is this weekend, December 3-4th, 2016. The hours are Saturday, 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. I hope you will be able to come out and check out all the vendors. It is a fun holiday fair.
I will be at the Port Townsend Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair this coming Friday and Saturday (Nov. 25-26th). It is being held at the Uptown Community Center from 10am to 5pm. My booth will be in the gymnasium downstairs. I hope you have a chance to come by and see me.
I have a few new things this year. The outdoor metal birds are now done and I also have the new counted cross-stitch kits. As always I have journals, prints, cards, and tiles as well as some originals.
I will be at the 45th Port Townsend Crafts By the Dock this weekend, September 10-11th, 10am to 6pm Sat, 10am to 5pm Sun. It takes place downtown on Madison Street/Water Street. This great arts and crafts show takes place at the same time as the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend.
It’s time for the Sequim Lavender Festival. This year is the 20th year for the event. Come check it out if you are in town. I will be at the Street Fair on Fir Street. If you come by my booth I will give you a coupon for Nourish Restaurant that gives you 5% off your entree and a free J Wyatt Art card.
The new gift store in Sequim – Forage Gifts and Northwest Treasures, opened last Thursday and is carrying some of my art. Visit to check out their new Sequim logo and merchandise from the northwest.
