While the Sequim Farmer’s Market started a couple of weeks ago at the Civic Plaza in Sequim, this coming Saturday, May 25th, will be my first time this year. I’m looking forward to spending most of my Saturdays this summer at the market. If you are around, please come and see me. I have posted my schedule of dates at the market on the Event Page.
I will have a booth at the Soroptimist Garden Show at the Boys and Girls Club in Sequim this weekend. The weather is supposed to be nice, so it will make a nice outing. Time to get in the mood for spring gardening.
The hours for the show are
Saturday, March 16, 9am to 4pm
Sunday, March 17, 10am to 4pm
My 9-drawer box was accepted into the Fiber Arts Festival, which starts today at the Sequim Museum. The box, drawers and journal are covered with coordinated fabric. If you have a chance to stop by and see it, please do. The reception is tonight, which unfortunately, I cannot attend. But I did stop by this afternoon and took at look at the extraordinary exhibit. It is definitely worth the trip. The exhibit will be up until the end of November.
I’m going to be the featured artist Friday, Oct 5th, at Forage Gifts and Northwest Treasures in Sequim. I will have my 2019 calendars – hot off the press. Come by and check it out. If you haven’t been to Forage it is great gift store in downtown Sequim.
Tomorrow, Saturday, September 1st, will be my last outdoor market for the season. If you are in need of cards or a gift between now and early November, the start of the holiday shows, please come on by. The market is at the Civic Plaza in Sequim from 9am to 3pm.
I’ll have Halloween cards in case you are starting to get in the mood.
I will be at the Sequim Farmer’s Market this Friday and Saturday (9am to 5pm). Hope you have a chance to come out and see me. The weather should be great. We are located at the corner of Sequim Avenue and Cedar Street at Civic Plaza.
I have just finished a couple of new birdie designs. These are acrylic on canvas – small square designs.
A little something to celebrate Valentine’s Day showing sharing and caring.
I thought it might be fun to create a clamshell box for one of my journals – and it was fun. I like these as a set and think I’ll do some more.
I’ve been working lately on making this 9 drawer box with a place for a journal on the side. I undertook this as a way to gain some experience with making boxes, but also as a way to learn how to size everything properly (still have lots to learn). This box is covered in fabric, and I found it quite a challenge. But all in all, I think it turned out well. It has 9 drawers, 4 small drawers, 2 sets of 2 drawers and 1 long drawer.
