I just finished a bunch of new blank journals. Some have a hard cover with exposed spine and others have soft wrap-around covers. I am taking most of these shown to the Focus on Book Arts conference in Oregon this week, where I’ll have them for sale in the artist shop.
The newest children’s book that I illustrated is just about ready to head to print and should (fingers crossed) be ready for the Sequim Lavender Festival. Here is the cover of this book. It was a lot of fun to do the illustrations in this book.
Here is my latest painting. It is 18×24 and done with acrylic paint on canvas.
The newest cross stitch design is now complete, “Birds of a Feather”, and the kit is ready. If you are interested in cross stitch or know someone who is, check out this and my 4 other designs.
Here is my latest painting. I’m calling it “Tree Lined Road”, done with acrylics. It is 18″x24″.
I just finished painting a bunch of fabric to use to make into book covers. The next step is to get these cut out and start the process of making the journals. I’ll keep you posted.
I now have 4 Counted Cross Stitch Kits finished and for sale, they are shown here. All of these designs are based on my original artwork. Each kit contains the colored aida cloth, embroidery floss, needle and counted cross stitch pattern with color chart. All are roughly 5″ x 5″ square.
The Vern Burton Christmas Fair in Port Angeles is this weekend, December 3-4th, 2016. The hours are Saturday, 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. I hope you will be able to come out and check out all the vendors. It is a fun holiday fair.
Hope you have a wonderful day!
