Art that makes you smile

Colored Pencil Art

2015 Cat CalendarI started doing designs in colored pencil for a monthly desk calendar that I was creating for family and friends. Now, in addition to the calendars, I am creating cards and prints from those designs.

Framed original designs are available.

The 2015 calendars are now available. Shown here are the images that appear on each of the months of the 2015 cat calendar. This is a desk calendar with a CD display case holder. Each month is on a separate page and you can just flip to the appropriate month.  The rest of the months are then contained behind the current month on the same holder.

There are 2 2015 calendars. One is the Cat Calendar, shown at right, and the other is a Birdie Calendar. The Birdie Calendar is drawn with the Sequim Audubon Center, Railroad Bridge and Park as the backdrop. 2015 is the 100 anniversary of the Railroad Bridge.

Also on Etsy are the prints that have been done from the original colored pencil designs. These can be found in the print section of my Etsy shop: Etsy Prints

  1. Haha, cool! How long does it take to draw a piece like this one?

    • I’m so glad you like it. Most of my pieces are done over a couple of days time, probably adding up to 8-10 hours. Thanks
